I'm Crushed - My Baby Has Her First Crush

I knew it was only a matter of time. I didn't know when it would happen, but it did.

MY BABY HAS HER FIRST CRUSH!!!!!!

She is 10 and everything seems to be moving quickly with her. I think 10 years old these days might equate to 12 years old back when I was a kid. Where has the time gone? I remember her first steps, first words, and now I guess I will remember her first crush.

His name is Justin.....Justin Bieber.

I now know WAY more than I ever wanted to know about this child. I have been told his favorite color, his favorite food, his favorite candy, his birthday, the name of his manager and the list goes on and on. I see him hanging all over her walls and hear his voice coming from her stereo every day.

I guess this means it is time to buckle my seat belt because she is about to jump on the "crazy for boys train".

I do have to admit I was no better than her at this age. This is what I had hanging on my bedroom wall!!

  1. I have a teenage daughter so I know all about Justin Bieber. My daughter has posters of the Jonas Brothers, Justin Bieber and some other teen boy idols that I don't even know on the wall of her bedroom.

Thanks for stopping by Healthy Moms!

  3. Yep, there's a whole bunch of girls that are crazy for Justin. A whole bunch. Don't tell her that though.

    Have a terrific day. :)

  4. Neither of my girls are into Justin Bieber and I am doing everything I can to keep them away from him. Not because I am worried about the crush, but I don't want to have to listen to him over and over and over again (can you say Taylor Swift). Best wishes on this milestone moment.

  7. My daughter likes him too, but doesn't have any cd's or anything, but if we here him on the radio, she freaks out.

  8. I don't mean to be crass, but at least Shaun Cassidy looks like he's past puberty. Justin looks like he's 10!!

I'm older than you--I LOVED his older brother--David Cassidy. Sigh.

  14. I don't recall my oldest daughter (who's 18 now) having a crush on a celebrity. Hanging on my wall were Michael Jackson (before the changes!) and New Edition posters. I wonder how it will go with my two youngest daughters? Right now, my middle daughter only knows Barack Obama, Michael Jackson and Jamie Foxx. LOL
