Want To Be Annoyed? We Have An App For That!!

I absolutely love my iphone. I have to admit I don't use all the cool things on it that I could since I don't have as much time as I would like. Every once in awhile I get a quick minute to play around with my phone and look at the applications.

I started putting a few free kids games on my phone for those times we get stuck at the doctor's office or somewhere where I may need some help entertaining my younger ones.

One day I found an application that just looked so cool. I had to have it! The application is called "Talking Carl".

In theory, this is the coolest thing ever. In reality.....I HATE YOU CARL!!!!
Carl repeats every word, noise, and sound you say to him. It was cute for about an hour. Since then he has caused nothing but trouble in my house. My two year old loves him the most.

She loves him so much that it got to the point that she would cry for him every day just to play with him. I seriously had to consider starting a 12-step getting over Carl program for her!!

I have since removed Carl from my phone. She still asks for him from time to time, but for my sanity I just had to get rid of him. Sorry Carl...

  1. Bwahahahahaha. I'm sorry but this is funnier than heck. You crack me up.

Have a terrific day. Big hug. :)

  2. Poor Carl! ;) I would have the same reaction - removing him - since that would definitely get on my last nerve! :)

  3. Mothers must exert some censorship over iphone apps, just as with other media. Any app with matricidal intent gets the boot.

  4. Wow, that's funny. Made even funnier by the fact that I know a guy named Carl, and he is REALLY annoying. I deleted him years ago, and I'm much happier for it.

  5. Uhm, Carl sounds like a walking nightmare. Holy Jeez. I'm glad I don't have an iPhone, it would be a source of much drama around here I'm sure. Thanks for the warning. ;)

  6. OH MY!!! We too (me & the 4yr old that is) also downloaded Carl...I had NO idea what we were in for!! She soon taught her 2yr old bro how to say annoying things to Carl which he would repeat back in that high-pitched annoying voice..ugghh..feel your pain sister!! But..Carl still lives on my iPhone!! Found you thru Market Mommies Blig Hop!!
