Truvia Sweetener Review and Giveaway

I am a confessed chocoholic and sugar fiend. The only problem with both is when I eat either of them they like to stick right to my midsection. Since I have been trying to loose weight I have had to cut down out on the chocolate and find an alternative to sugar. So, when I was given the chance to try the natural sweetener Truvia, I jumped at the chance.

Truvia is a natural sweetener because it comes from the leaves of the Stevia plant, which is 200 times sweeter than actual sugar. The best part is it is a guilt free alternative to sugar with zero calories! Truvia is a great choice for cooking with. If you go to www.truvia.com they have recipes to follow. One packet equals two teaspoons of regular sugar.

I decided to try my first packet with the most important thing in my day - my morning coffee!
I was very happy that it sprinkled into my coffee just like regular sugar. I like the way it tasted and it didn't have that chemical after taste. It was easy to use and dissolved well into my coffee.

I also gave it to my toughest critiques in the house, my four daughters. I let them sprinkle it on their strawberries and they loved it. I honestly don't think they would have known it was Truvia and not sugar if I hadn't told them.

I really enjoyed using Truvia and will be adding it to my daily routine. I am excited to be able to give a box away for you to form your own opinions about. Here is what you have to do-

  2. That is interesting! I think I need that because I have family history of Diabetes. Is it recommendable for people with Diabetes? If yes, I hope there is Truvia in the Philippines.

  4. My first time hearing about this sweetener also. I will most definitely pass it on as many people I know use other sweeteners and I am always telling them they may as well use sugar as it is just as harmful~
