75 Percent Less

With all the shopping, school supplies, packing lunches, getting into a routine and seeing three of my daughters off to school it never hit me that I was going to be down to 1 child 3 days a week!  75% of my house is in school!!!!

My four year old started preschool this year. She wasn't potty trained quick enough for the 3's last year. This was her first year. You would think after doing this for the third time it would get easier, but it didn't. She was excited and nervous at the same time. My stomach just turned at the thoughts of what could happen when I dropped her off. Every thing went really well........until I went to leave.

She turned out to be the one that grabbed onto my leg screaming and crying. I held strong for a little bit, but then my tears fell. I left right away leaving my heart behind. She did fine. The teacher said she was calm in a few minutes and has loved going back ever since.

So, there I am at home with 1 child!!! 1 child!!! It has been over 10 years since I have only had one child around. How easy can this be?? Well, turns out not easy at all. You see, this cute little thing is 2 and into everything.

My first day alone and down to 75 % was a lot of work. I was doing dishes and it got really quite. I went looking to see what she was up to. I found this.

My little lovely decided to wash her hair with hand soap. It was bath time. I went to go get the bath supplies ready and once again it is quite. This is the next thing I found.

This was all in a split second. Looks like I am going to have my hands full no matter how many kids are at home! LOL
