Step4Kids to Write Their ABCs Review

Turn handwriting practice into one of the most-anticipated moments of your day with this handwriting DVD! The nationally acclaimed Steps 4 Kids to Write Their ABCs will help children write all upper and lowercase manuscript letters a-z on lined paper, teaches ways to remember the proper pencil grip, introduces letter sounds, teaches over 100 sight words, and provides easy-to-remember tips to keep p, q, b, and d facing the right way. The "Writing Basics" track shows how to recognize and correct common writing mistakes, while drawing breaks provide a fun interlude by using letters to draw items. A fun and effective way to teach manuscript handwriting! 1 hour, 3 track DVD.

I sat down and watched this video with my four year old and my seven year old. I was amazed at how quickly they picked up on writing their ABCs the way the video showed them. My seven year old already knows all her numbers and letters, but extra practice is never a bad thing. My four year old is still mastering the basics and the video helped her with some of the letters she is still learning and still needs practice with. I was very impressed with what this video had to offer my girls. It is a great tool to help your children that are between the ages of 4 and 7.

Disclosure:  I was provided with the DVD to write a review. I did not receive any other compensation. All opinions are my own.

  1. Does your girls' school have an adopted manuscript style? They may encounter (I hope not, but they may) teachers who want them to change their letter styles.

Me, I'm all about the legibility, so I like the idea of this!
